2.3.3.5.2. When is the deadline for payment of tuition?

For Student Visa applications
You would only need to pay the application fee of 21,000 Japanese Yen. You would only be requested to pay the tuition fee, accommodation and other fees when the Immigration Bureau issues the Certificate of Eligibillity.

For All Others (Courses less than 3 months)
The tuition fees is due 5 weeks before the course starts. The accommodation fee and futon lease can be paid upon arrival.
